Meet at 2pm in Parc le Breos car park, Parkmill.
Believe it or not it has been 10 years since I took my first GSY activity so we are going back to our roots. Far back to Neolithic times. See if you can learn the skills which would help you survive 1000s of years ago.
Set in amongst the living history of Parc le Breos we will learn some ancient crafts. Make pinch bowls or ancient figurines out of clay and bake them on an open fire. Have a go at Atlatl an ancient hunting technique. Make fire by friction and have a go at pewter casting. As well as visiting a burial chamber and a cave used by our ancestors 1000s of years ago.
Directions: Follow the signs to Parc le Breos Trekking Centre at Parkmill. Pass the car park for the Heritage Centre and follow the potholed road for ¾ of a km. On your left is the car park opposite some large pine tree and a gate. We will cross the road and go through the gate and follow the valley, Green Cwm. Grid Ref: 538896
