Nature Days have been inspected by Estyn, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate for Education and Training in Wales as part of Knelston Primary school's Inspection.
The full report is available on the Etsyn website but quotes relating to the teaching by Nature Days are below.
"A valuable range of teaching approaches and challenging tasks are provided in the Forest School facility. Sessions contribute well to pupils’ development of knowledge and understanding of the outdoor environment. Pupils’ social, co-operative and communication skills are effectively developed through these beneficial experiences."
"The school has a forest school area which is regularly used very effectively to support pupils’ learning."
"The provision of the forest school is a particular strength of the school and it has shared aspects of this work with other schools within the local authority."
This final point relates to a talk undertaken by Nature Days for The British Association for Early Childhood Education at Knelston Primary School.
